Nelson Goodman, Jewish through his father, came up with the concepts of grue and bleen. What are grue and bleen? Let us explain.

Grue as something that is "green before time t and blue afterwards". Alternatively, bleen is the reverse: "blue before time t and green afterwards".

So, for example, define t to be midnight of January 1, 2014. Before that time, the sky is blue and bleen, while grass is green and grue. However, as 2013 turns into 2014, the sky is now blue and grue, and grass becomes green and bleen. Let us demonstrate:
