Everyone reaches a point when one has to make a decision on what path to take. What profession to select as one's life doing.

But what if one is pretty darn good at multiple things?

Take Harald Bohr. The Dane was an excellent soccer player, helping his country to the silver medal at the 1908 Olympics. He was also an excellent mathematician. So which path did he choose?

Harald, whose brother was famed physicist Niels, chose math. His athletic career ended with the presentation of his thesis, which was attended by numerous soccer fanatics. They came to cheer their hero for the final time.

So, sports put to rest, Harald delved into mathematics, founding the field of almost periodic functions. Please, don't ask what that is. It's much easier to explain the soccer...

    Verdict: Jew.
