Ah, the Super Bowl profile. JONJ's annual tradition.

Who will get the luck of the draw this year? Surely, there is someone on the Broncos or Seahawks who is Jewish? No? Coaches? Owners? Masseuses? Equipment managers? Cheerleaders? Anyone? Anyone?

Well, here is one: Peyton Manning went to a Jewish high school. Sort of.

Manning's alma mater is Isidore Newman School in New Orleans. Its finding namesake was a Jewish philanthropist who wanted to educate Jewish orphans. However, Newman being the mensch that he was, the school welcomed children of all faiths. With time, it became an elite prep school, set on the expansive 11-acre campus. All the Manning offspring attended, including Peyton and Eli.

So, yeah, this is about as close to a Jewish Super Bowl connection as we can find. Perhaps it's time for a new annual tradition...
