A couple of years ago, we wrote the profile of Marvel's Scarlet Witch. It was a rather excellent one, if we can say so ourselves, referencing fathers and daughters and legacies and ending with the punchline that the Scarlet Witch must be (half) Jewish because dad Magneto is.
Well, Marvel pulled a fast one on us, rendering that profile mostly moot. It was recently revealed that Magneto is not really Scarlet Witch's biological father; instead, she was kidnapped as a child and was made to believe that he was her father, which is very strange, and, honestly, very lame. (In the comics, at least. We think in the X-Men movies, she is still his daughter?)
So let's leave Scarlet Witch's paternal problems aside, because Magneto does have a genuine, biological, (half) Jewish superhero daughter (who also dabbed in supervillainy): Lorna Dane, AKA Polaris! One of her powers is electromagnetic manipulation, which seems in line with the parentage.
At least until Marvel tries to pull another fast one on us, that is...
