If we had to pick our favorite Mel Brooks movie...

Boy, that's a tough one. Opinions diverge, even at JONJ headquarters. But let's just say that "History of the World: Part I" is right there at the top of the lists.

And if we had to pick our favorite "History of the World" joke...

So many choices. Only a miracle can save us? Fifteen/ten commandments? The inquisition, what a show? Hitler on ice? Jews... in... space?

No, for our money, the best joke is... Count da Money (de Monet!), a repetitive, silly, incredible pun that will never stop being funny.

Of course, Count da Money (de Monet! de Monet!) was played by long-time Brooks collaborator Harvey Korman, who you also might remember as the villainous Hedley Lamarr in "Blazing Saddles".

Speaking of our favorite Mel Brooks movies...

    Verdict: Jew.
