Meeting people can be hard, we know. Bars are a joke. The Internet is just as likely to turn up a wookie as it is a woman (or a 12-year-old boy, yikes).

So the urge to find a date at the workplace isn't a bad idea. Most of us have at least one or two attractive, available co-workers of the opposite sex. So go for it! Ask that sassy blonde to dinner. Take that brown-eyed hunk dancing. You know, so long as you're not already married...

But, you say, I'm a skinny, shy, Jewish person named for male genitalia, I don't know what to say to a person to get them to go out with me (sorry to propagate the stereotype, but...).

    Well here are some tips:

Start with some friendly small talk. Find out what common interests you have and talk about those. Maximize your opportunities to work together on projects or meetings. Things like that.

But no matter what, never just send them pictures of your ummmmm... namesake. You'd think a congressman would have that figured out by now, but apparently it bears repeating...

    Verdict: Sadly, a Jew.
