The first Israeli player in the NBA was Omri Casspi, who spent nine years in the league, played for six teams, and averaged a whole five points per game. Wait, he still plays? Could have fooled us.

The second Israeli player in the NBA was Gal Mekel, who spent two years in the league, played for two teams, and averaged a whole two points per game. Yeah, it didn't exactly get better.

The third Israeli player in the NBA was TJ Leaf. Yes, really, a guy named TJ! So far he's spent one year in the league, played for only one team, and averaged a whole two points per game... You know, it's 2.9, let's just round up to three.

So how on earth is there an Israeli basketball player named TJ?

Note that we didn't say he was Jewish...

    Verdict: Not a Jew.
