15 fucking years ago, two men, one goy (Seth Bullock) and one Jew (Sol Star), rode into fucking Deadwood. Well, the real Bullock and Star rode into the real fucking Deadwood over a fucking century ago, but we're talking about the fucking TV show here.

And what a fucking show it was! Fictionalizing the story of the real fucking Deadwood, "Deadwood" wasn't your grandpa's cowboy show. (Unless your grandpa had a very fucking colorful vocabulary...) Gritty, poetic, realistic, gory, and fucking soulful, "Deadwood" is often sited as one of the best fucking TV shows of all time. It lasted three memorable fucking seasons, and was recently back for a fucking reunion movie, ten years after the fucking conclusion. And the swearing... oh, the fucking swearing!

Interestingly, in real fucking life, the actor who played Bullock (Timothy Olyphant) is 1/8 Jewish, while the fucking actor who played Star (John Hawkes), is not Jewish at all. Star's Jewishness did play an important fucking role throughout the series, so we'll fucking take it.
